Upon Arrival to Wesleyan University
Upon arrival to Wesleyan University, you will need to schedule an appointment to check-in with Mark Hovey (mhovey@wesleyan.edu), Associate Provost in the Office of Academic Affairs. Prior to your appointment, you must complete a J-1 Student Exchange Visitor Arrival Validation Request. All J-1s must complete the validation process with the Office of Academic Affairs within 10 days of your program start date.
To begin the J-1 Student Exchange Visitor Arrival Validation Request, please click here. Please note, if you have already started a J-1 Student Exchange Visitor Arrival Validation Request DO NOT start a new one. Please go to your User Home Page to continue working on your existing request.
Upon submission of your J-1 Student Exchange Visitor Arrival Validation Request, the Office of Academic Affairs will review your documentation and will validate your SEVIS Record Form DS-2019.
