When not at OISA: When I am not at work, you will find me flying a hot air balloon, weaving in front of my multi shaft loom, trying out new restaurants with friends, learning American Sign Language and planning my dream trip to Antarctica.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Serves as Wesleyan’s appointed Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) and oversees the overall delivery of immigration services to the international community. Coordinates campus-wide efforts in immigration-related advocacy projects. 
  • Oversees a comprehensive range of education, support and advocacy for international students including International Student Orientation, International Resource Team and International Student Advisory Board. 
  • Develops, delivers, and evaluates programs designed to support immigration compliance, enhance intercultural and overall experience for international students.
  • Serves as an academic advisor to F-1 visa holders and other self-identified international students. Provides individual support to international students in their academic, social, leadership and identity development. 
  • Supervises Assistant Director, SEVIS coordinator, paid student interns and volunteer student leaders. 
  • Develops annual strategic work plans, creates annual reports and manages budgets.
